Gentle yoga is a class structured around rejuvenating and healing the body. Includes foundational principles of alignment, mindful breathing, and yoga basics. Yoga props such as blankets, blocks, yoga straps, bolsters, chairs and walls are often used to allow the body and mind to feel stability and comfort in each position.
This class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles.

A native of Maryland's Chesapeake Bay and Florida's southwest Gulf Coast, I grew up surrounded by the resources these great areas have to offer, on and off the water. As an avid sailor, stand up paddler, kayaker, skier, cyclist, tennis player, writer and photographer, I enjoy blending the mindfulness of yoga with my daily activities.
