"Yoga is both the journey and destination of living life well. My passion is is using the practices of yoga, especially alignment based asana, pranayama, and meditation to safely open up the inner and outer worlds to deeper exploration. As a student and teacher, together we grow and evolve our understanding of ourselves and life's possibilities"

Julie is a native of northwest Iowa, where she owned and operated a yoga and massage studio for 6 years. She relocated to Sarasota in 2013, working in this area as a massage therapist and yoga instructor. When in Iowa, Julie left the corporate world in 2004 to become a healer. She was introduced to yoga while in massage therapy school and has always found the two modalities inseparable. She always says “I am a better massage therapist because I do yoga, and I am a better yoga instructor because I am a massage therapist.” Her yoga classes are mindful and meaningful. Greater strength, flexibility and balance are the physical goals of every class and she promises meditative stillness and inspiration as well.
You will find a great mix of slow moving, focused alignment poses and vinyasa flow. Students find inner rhythm through steady breath awareness and awesome music. Come join Julie for stretching and steadiness and a unique spiritual experience.

Jane has been teaching alignment based Hatha Yoga for the past seven years in both Sarasota and Nashville. She completed her 200 hour teacher training in 2010 from Prana Yoga and Healing and furthered her studies by completing her Yin Yoga training in 2016. She enjoys combining Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga elements into her classes, including whole body relaxation and visualization into Savasana (final relaxation). Her intention is to create a class built on sequences that are realistic and accessible to all levels of students in a nurturing, non-competitive environment. Her belief is that it is the balance of effort and release that produces the best results and that accessing and directing the breath is a path to realizing those results while at the same time calming and directing the mind. She uses her knowledge of alignment, use of props, and posture mechanics to modify poses for students as needed. Jane has a degree in Mental Health from Purdue University. She has 25 years of experience in the social services field and also has a personal life coach certification from Coach University.
Janine has been practicing yoga for over 10 years after spending years in the gym with intensive workouts. She found Yoga when she was looking for something that would allow her to mentally relieve the chaos of a stressful career and balance out all the years of hard training. Finally in 2015, she decided to start giving the gift back by becoming a certified yoga instructor. She uses contemporary music during her flow with creative sequencing to keep the class fresh and accessible to any level.
